Saudade

just an idea i've been playing around with. I'll probably make an acrylic painting out of this.

Saudade is a portuguese noun wich has no translation. it describes a feeling of poignant emptyness for something lost. It means to miss or crave for something or someone, with grief and nostalgia. I wanted to depict this platonic desire in it's comtemplative nature, hence the double window, as a symbol for an inner lanscape.
